The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the challenges we've had in
getting the organization off the ground. To wit:

1. have not been able to formally incorporate due to funding issues
2. we fell short in our recent fundraising attempt

So, going forward, the question is, what can we do for the immediate
future, ie. before the November elections, and what about afterwards.

We have a few things in the can that could generate some activity and
discussion:

1 Voter Information Project - this is probably the easiest and the
biggest bang for the buck. All it requires is some legwork and
code-monkeying. Ilan has created a very nice Deki instance that
automates much of this.

2. Reach out to everyone who pledged in the recent fundraiser - thank
them and appeal to them to donate directly through whatever mechanism
we choose

Long-term issues:

1. We've had trouble getting traction around the organization. Is it
that our goals don't resonate with a wide enough audience? Is it our
name?

2. Goals - originally, when I started doing this, the goal was to
present a critical mass of voters such that politicians would have to
at least address issues of copyright reform, patent reform, and
whatever fits under the pantheon of information rights.

3. Information rights - is this the right way to frame the debate? Is
there something we're missing?
